AOL required a Flash animation that would appear within their service environment to alert users to the risks of computer viruses and encourage them to sign up to McAfee VirusScan. We decided to approach the project in a playful style, developing a number of cartoon virus characters which we then animated for the final presentation.
Oast One produced this interactive, snowman building game as a Christmas competition for Springboards clients. The user can make snowballs and stack them up before decorating their snowman with items from graphical menus. Once the user is happy with their creation they can take a picture and submit to the online gallery - not before their details are captured of course. (Click on the image on the left of the screen to launch the game)
Created for AOL as an 'off-brand' advertisement for their online services. This project was created in Flash in under one week and is intended to appeal to the 'non-typical' computer user.
Morgan Lovell required a luxurious screensaver as a free gift for their clients. We provided them with a screensaver that followed the evolution of a caterpillar into a butterfly. We coded a basic artificial intelligence into the butterflies and caterpillars to give the screensaver and organic, random feel. You can see the original concept storyboards and also download the finished screensaver by following the above link.
Sports sponsorship consultancy, Clear Sports asked Oast One to design and develop their new brand and website. We came up with a very clean and fresh looking identity which worked well as an online Flash website.
Oast One was asked to produce an example of an online game for a project involving mobile phones for the 2006 World Cup. Concepts and play styles were produced using Dreamweaver and Director. (Please navigate to the end of the slideshow to view the game)
A short Flash animation advertising the launch of Springboard's new website in a fun and on-brand manner. The file was sent as an attachment to Springboard's entire client list to raise awareness of their new website and encourage people to visit.
AOL ask for an emailable invitation that linked to an online webpage, to be both cost effective and stay within their style guidelines. We were able to produce the email and animated banner to their specification along with accompanying graphics and sound.
